Create handmade soap together

Looking for a different kind of date night? Or just a fun hands-on activity to do with your favourite person?
In this unique and relaxed soap making class, you’ll create a beautiful batch of handmade soap – together.

You’ll share one soap mould, but each create your own soap mixture to customise. Choose your fragrance blend together, then each pick your own clay colour. At the end, you’ll combine your soap mixtures together, marbling them into the one mould.

You’ll take your soap home in it’s mould, ready to cut once it’s cured. The mould will allow you to cut 14 mini bars, so you have 7 mini soap bars each.

Perfect for couples, besties, siblings, or anyone who loves doing something creative together.

What you'll learn

How to work safely with Lye (Sodium Hydroxide)
How to blend plant-based oils and butters into a balanced soap recipe
How to customise your soap with clays to suit your skin type
Blend two fragrance oils together to create your own custom scent
How and when to cut your soap

Who can come

This class is open to everyone aged 18+
No previous experience required
couples, besties, siblings, or anyone who loves doing something creative together.
A lot of people come solo, so if you’re thinking about booking on your own, chances are you won’t be the only one. Our teachers are warm, friendly, and always make sure solo guests feel welcome and supported.
We welcome all genders and identities in our inclusive space.

Good to know

On the day of the class, we will be using sodium hydroxide, an essential ingredient to make soap. For your safety, you must wear long sleeves, long pants, closed-toe shoes, and long hair tied back. If you arrive without meeting these requirements, unfortunately we won’t be able to allow you to participate.
Please bring one tea towel per person to the class. Your soap needs to be wrapped to stay warm. Tea towel size is ideal, other towels are too large.
To ensure the best results and a seamless class experience, we provide all the ingredients you’ll need. For safety and consistency, we ask that participants do not bring their own ingredients to this class.
This class runs for 2 hours, if you’re driving, avoid 1P or 2P zones as we won’t be able to pause the class for you to move your car. Not sure where to park? Click here for our parking tips
