This bundle combines our three most popular sewing classes, split over three separate days. You’ll choose your dates from our availability calendar, so you can schedule each session at a time that works for you.
Whether you’re starting from scratch or looking to refine your skills, this series is designed to take you from complete beginner to confident sewist – step by step.
We know starting something new can feel daunting, but with our structured approach, you’ll build skills progressively, with the same friendly guidance and supportive vibe we’re known for. Here’s a breakdown of the three sessions:
Sewing for Beginners (3 hours)
- Learn the fundamentals of using a sewing machine, including threading, tension, and sewing straight lines. You’ll complete a 45 x 45cm cushion cover – your first fully finished piece.
Introduction to Garment Making (5 hours)
- Create a pair of elasticated shorts or pants while learning how to follow a commercial sewing pattern. This session introduces garment construction techniques and helps you gain confidence working with different shapes and seams.
Dressmaking Class (7 hours)
- Take your skills further by sewing a peplum top, midi dress, or maxi dress (your choice). You’ll learn how to sew darts, create gathers, and construct a double bodice with finished neck and arm holes – a big leap in confidence and capability.

- Everything is included for the Sewing for Beginners class – just bring yourself.

ⓧ Fabric for the two garment-making classes are not included and will need to be purchased separately. We’ve designed it this way so you can choose something you’ll love to wear. We’ll send you a detailed shopping list with all the info you need.
- This class is open to everyone aged 18+, and you don’t need any prior sewing experience.
- A lot of people come solo, so if you’re thinking about booking on your own – chances are you won’t be the only one. Our teachers are warm, friendly, and always make sure solo guests feel welcome and supported.
- We welcome all genders and identities in our inclusive space.

- Cushion insert not included in the Sewing For Beginners class but available to purchase on the day for $10
- Fabric for the two garment-making classes are not included. It’s been designed this way so you can choose something you love to wear. We’ll send you a detailed shopping list with all the info you need.
- Please arrive 10 minutes early to settle in
- Closed-toe shoes are recommended for your safety

Due to high demand and limited class sizes, all bookings are final and non-refundable. We’re happy to reschedule your booking as long as it meets the conditions below:
- Rescheduling with more than 7 days’ notice: free of charge
- Rescheduling with less than 7 days’ notice: $50 per person rescheduling fee
- Rescheduling with less than 24 hours’ notice: no reschedule or refund available
